Welcome to Centre Bay Yacht Club

Considered one of the Coast’s “best kept secrets”, Centre Bay Yacht Station is located at the end of Centre Bay on Gambier Island.  Founded in 1962, CBYS  is a private outstation and is not affiliated with any one yacht club.  It is set up as a corporation with shareholders and was established as an affordable, family friendly place to boat.

CBYS has a rich history, with over 13 acres of wooded forests, walking trails including the Gambier Grind, and its very own sandy beach.  There is an extensive breakwater system which protects over 250 meters of dock space, complete with fresh running water on each finger.

There is also a covered BBQ area, a fish cleaning station, camping facilities, paddle boards and a seasonal fire pit.  All you need are the marshmallows!
